Klub byl založen v roce 1946 legendárním koučem Jimem Bishopem. Jako jediný tým v historii sedmkrát v řadě zvítězil v Minto Cupu (kanadském mistrovství kategorie Junior A) a čtyřikrát v Founders Cupu (kanadském mistrovství Junior B) a má vítěznou bilanci 85 %. Několik hráčů Green Gaels bylo draftováno do NLL. Green Gaels hráli na Memoriálu třikrát. V letech 2007 a 2010 turnaj vyhráli, vloni skončili pátí.

Established in 1946 by legendary lacrosse coach Jim Bishop. Winners of 7 consecutive Minto Cups, the only team in sports to ever achieve this. Current Jr. B team has won 4 Founders Cups and boasts a winning percentage of 85% since 1996. Several Green Gaels have been drafted into the National Lacrosse League. Green Gaels participated in the Memorial three times. They won the tournament in 2007 and 2010, last year they finished 5th.
