Tým z Nového Skotska se účastní Memoriálu Aleše Hřebeského počtvrté, poprvé to bylo pod hlavičkou Adanac Warriors v roce 2008, kdy tým skončil třetí. Privateers jsou z Halifaxu, který hostil mistrovství světa v boxlakrosu v roce 2007. V roce 2010 zabránila jejich účasti erupce islandské sopky Eyafjallajökull a související omezení letecké přepravy nad Evropou.Tým se skládá z nejtalentovanějších hráčů z Nového Skotska, většinou z oblasti Halifaxu. Kromě příprav na účast na turnaji v Praze hraje většina hráčů v boxlakrosových soutěžích v Halifaxu.

The Nova Scotia team is in their 4th year together as a team. We first came together as Adanac Warriors with the idea of travelling to Prague to compete in the Aleš Hřebeský Memorial Tournament, which we did for the first time in 2008. We were very pleased with our bronze medal finish our first time competing in the tournament and are looking forward to this years competition. The Icelandic Eyaflallajökull volcano eruption and thus limited air traffic over the Europe stopped Privateers in their participation in 2010.
The Privateers are from Halifax, Nova Scotia, home of the 2007 Men’s Indoor Box Lacrosse World Championship. Our team is made up of some of the most talented lacrosse players in Nova Scotia who have all come up through the ranks of minor lacrosse, mostly in the Halifax area. Outside of our preparations for coming to Prague, most our team competes in a summer, men’s senior box lacrosse league in Halifax.
